DBI has 40 years of experience with gas analysis. In 1972, the first analysis of Russian natural gas was carried out in Germany by the DBI. Due to long-term experience the accreditation by the DAP with the focus on gas analysis was managed after the reestablishment of the company in 1991. Our cus-tomer base includes numerous gas gathering companies, inter-regional supply companies and mu-nicipal utilities. DBI does sub-contract work for several analytical laboratories.
- Determination of the gas composition including hydrocarbon content up to C 8 and calcu-lation of the technical combustion data
- Determination of the gas composition including hydrocarbon content up to C 20 (GC-analysis with pre-concentration via adsorption)
- Measurement of the concentration of diverse sulphur compounds (H2S, COS, Mercaptans and others)
- Determination of the water content and dew point (Karl-Fischer titration / dew point mirror measurements)
- Determination of mercury content
- Complete analysis of biogases and gases from gasification processes
The sampling can be carried out by the DBI or the customer.
