Corrosion of in House Gas Installations
- Particle build-up on the inner surface of Cu pipes
In certain cases, black particles were found in existing Copper gas installations in houses. These particles can cause the end equipment to malfunction. In a DVGW research project, the build-up conditions and mechanisms for the formation of such particles were investigated. Furthermore, such incidents were analysed and assessed on-site.
