G 442 Ex-Zones around Blow outs

With DVGW reference G 442, the grid users have a tool at their disposal with the ability to inspect and define potentially explosive areas on a fundamental basis. There are few specific blow out shapes, which can not be computed based on the DVGW G 442 guideline. In DVGW reference G 442 a single inspection is required for blow out shapes, which are not computable at the moment. DBI has developed a simple approach to evaluate these blow out shapes. For the calculations the software “e.BEx®“ is used.
