OPTISOS®
Mode of Operation:
To inspect the inside of your thermal process facility during operation, we have designed a mobile optical diagnosis system, OPTISOS®. With OPTISOS®, one can check for degradation and estimate the remaining operational period of their system. An analysis of your facility when it is not running does not offer the same results. OPTISOS® allows one to see the entire combustion chamber through an existing keyhole (existing keyholes Ø≥ 32 mm) and with different angles. In addition to the optical monitoring, an image processing system also permits a thermographic analysis. The probe can be used up to process temperatures of 2000°C and up to a pressure of 1125 bar. OPTISOS® will have no effect on the process due to its very small construction.
In real-time, one can detect:
- Interference of the heat insulation (eruptions, open grooves, infiltration of condensable atmospheric constituents, corrosion of joints, thermal bridges),
- Interference of the operating process (adhesion of slag/ cinder, scale deposition, product stoppage in critical positions), and
- Deformation of the carrier current system of transmission (transport tracks, lifting bar, blower/pre-combustion chamber mountings)
Timely recognition of the above problems is crucial, and long-term maintenance measures should be planned. This enables a condition-based maintenance schedule, with increased security and the ability to avoid disastrous situations with that may jeopardize your facility.
OPTISOS® Components:
