Load Managment

Load management for the optimization of gas and power acquisition by industrial clients

The gas price paid by industrial customers consists of two components: a variable component of used gas (in kWh) and a fixed component. The fixed component is geared to the maximum kilowatt output of a gas supplier (the maximum output is limited by the capacity of the gas grid). Should the customer require more than the maximum output, the gas price increases, and the customer is forced to pay penalties.

The goal of load management is to maintain constant load allocation by optimizing and planning the internal gas consumption processes and to avoid predictable peak energy demands. Within a short-term strategy, the long-term peak demands, which are often unpredictable, can be allotted to times with a low overall demand for power output. Significant cost-savings are possible if the maximum output of a system can be reduced.

Though the introduction of load management is crucial, it is also recommended that your energy consumption process undergo an efficiency analysis so that more potential savings may be identified.

To gain an advantage over the competition, cost-savings must be achieved. The introduction of a load management plan will help you in the right direction.

Technical Engineering services

The aim of our engineering services is to cut energy costs by reducing the maximum reference performance of gas and power and by decreasing the total energy consumption.

We specialize in the areas of energy consulting, efficient energy concept planning and implementation. That is to say, we take a holistic approach to energy management, control, and site analysis (assessment and comparison of energy consumption, material flow, capacity and reserves).

By identifying areas for potential savings, be they in the form of costs, energy, or emissions, economical and technical process optimizations can be made. It is also possible to determine the economical efficiency of existing or projected equipment.

Furthermore we will inform you about the process of obtaining subsidies, about the process for obtaining approval procedures and the ways in which you can take advantage of our training programs and seminars.

Technical Measurement Services

To achieve high quality in our engineering projects, we rely on our modern measurement techniques. One example of our measurement capabilities is the use of thermography to determine the thermal energy losses of equipment and buildings.

Furthermore, specific product costs and benchmarks can be determined based on the comparison between their emissions output, and the compulsory emissions limits.

Our responsibilities also include long-term facility monitoring (temperature, pressure, and load profile), data analysis and causal research necessitated by technical and physical facility problems.

Your energy consultant

Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass
Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass

Recently, the Free State of Saxony has begun rewarding an increase in energy efficiency within companies with the Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass.

This certificate is subsidized by the Free State of Saxony, and it allows the recipient to have 50% of the cost of an engineering consultant covered (up to 3,000€).  However, the funding will only be granted if it is to be used to further “energy efficiency and climate protection.”

As your energy consultant, we start by analyzing the energy optimization potential within your company. If our studies show that your company has the potential to become more energy efficient, we will support you in the application for the Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass subsidy.

For further information on the Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass click here.

Furthermore, your company will receive statements concerning the current energy status of your company, outlining areas that hold potential to improve the energy efficiency, and, where possible, concrete measures for the implementation of such improvements. In addition, your company will receive a statement comparing the energy efficiency of other companies against your own.
