Reducing energy costs – Optimization of thermal process facilities
Thermal process facilities are subject to accelerated degradation and thus require regular maintenance and service. Just as thermal facilities age with time, so too do the procedural steps. To properly optimize a facility, both the facility itself, and the procedural steps need maintenance and service.
Besides the system-specific changes, the factors of production also change with changes in the market. The quality, the quantity, and the nature of the produced goods must be continually adapted to the current market situation.
We will assist with these tasks and help to guarantee that your products are both manufactured efficiently and are of high quality. Research results:
- Thermal status analysis
We assess the heating system (i.e. flame images, burnout, exhaust analysis) and determine the temperature distribution and heat transmission. Thermal losses, energy consumption and efficiency are also recorded.
Your facility will observe a radical decrease in energy consumption resulting in a substantial reduction of energy and running costs. Furthermore, the efforts required to maintenance and service your facility will be minimized because of an optimized, and thus more economic, operation. Also, the quality of the generated product will be improved. In addition, your pollutant emissions will be decreased allowing you to meet the compulsory limiting values, thus reducing the pollutant discharge costs.
Your company will receive statements concerning the current energy status of your company, outlining areas that hold potential to improve the economical and technological efficiency, and, where possible, concrete measures for the implementation of such improvements. In addition, your company will receive a statement comparing the energy efficiency of other companies against your own.

- Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass
Recently, the Free State of Saxony has begun rewarding an increase in energy efficiency within companies with the "Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass".
This certificate is subsidized by the Free State of Saxony, and it allows the recipient to have 50% of the cost of an engineering consultant covered (up to 3,000€). However, the funding will only be granted if it is to be used to further “energy efficiency and climate protection.”
As your energy consultant, we start by analyzing the energy optimization potential within your company. If our studies show that your company has the potential to become more energy efficient, we will support you in the application for the Sächsischer Gewerbeenergiepass subsidy.
